主动拒了加州艺术学院选择到波士顿建筑学院读本科建筑

前言：

对于申请美国本科建筑专业的同学而言，有几所学校都是自己的不二选择，今天马克君会为大家介绍2016年的Haoyun Yang同学的申请案例，看看这个来自中国普通高中的学生在没有准备SAT的前提下是如何拿到多所顶尖院校的offer的。

加州艺术学院/CCA：

加州艺术学院，是美国一所顶尖的艺术学院，曾培养出无数杰出的艺术创作者。其专业艺术家、表演艺术工作者、电影制片、动画制作等创意人才分布在世界各地。在美国新闻与世界报导的排行榜上，加州艺术学院获列入全美顶尖艺术创作研究所排名前十名。

普瑞特艺术学院/Pratt：

普瑞特艺术学院，成立于1887年，是美国纽约市的艺术学校。主校区有25英亩，位于布鲁克林区。此外在曼哈顿下城区也有曼哈顿校区。 其中工业设计排名美国第三，室内设计排名美国第一。 2017年的QS 世界大学排行名，艺术与设计类专业排名全球第五，北美地区第四。

波士顿建筑学院/BAC

波士顿建筑学院创建于1889年，前身是执业建筑师俱乐部。如今，波士顿建筑学院下设多个分院，开设有一系列受到评鉴机构认可的建筑及设计领域优质学位课程。 其中包括建筑学院，室内建筑学院，景观建筑学院， 和设计研究学院。

马克笔设计留学点评：加州艺术学院属于美国最顶尖的艺术类院校，并且地理位置得天独厚，对于很多有志于硅谷的同学而言是不二选择，学校本科舍友建筑、动画、交互、产品、插画等多个专业。对于中国的申请学生而言，需要提前准备托福和作品集，并且对于高中期间的成绩也是有很高的要求。

马克笔设计留学点评：Pratt作为美国最顶尖的艺术类院校之一，对于申请者的要求也会比较高，特别是对于申请者的专业能力也就是作品集会非常看重，反而在语言、本科 院校和成绩上要求反而会低一些，对于国内申请者而言，Pratt可以接收更低的语言成绩申请，并且提供语言课，因此在申请时首要目标是完成高质量的作品集。

马克笔设计留学点评：波士顿建筑设计学院以建筑设计和室内设计两个专业而驰名美国，当初Haoyun Yang同学虽然同是手握多所学校的offer，并且不发CCA/PRATT这样的名校，但是依旧坚定的选择了去BAC读建筑，看中的就是学校在建筑设计方向的资源和地理位置。对于中国学校申请而言，BAC的语言要求和对于高中成绩要求比较容易达到，难点在于作品集的准备，可以说对于申请本科阶段的学生而言要求属于比较高的，一定要提早准备。

OFFER案例

申请时间：2016年11月

申请人背景：申请时是海南华侨高中在读学生，在校均分87分左右，申请时托福总分80，无任何艺术绘画背景，在准备申请时基础为零，但是自己对于建筑设计非常感兴趣，看过一些相关书籍，有过一定的熏陶，最终完成并提交建筑设计相关作品集。

其它申请结果：亚利桑那州立大学（offer）；

                           奥蒂斯艺术学院（offer）；

辅导形式：在线一对一辅导，周期4个月

马克笔设计留学点评：由于申请人准备的时间比较早，虽然没有任何的绘画基础，但是通过近四个月的长期在线辅导（高中课程和作品集辅导课同时进行）还是出色的完成了自己的作品集，并且为将来的建筑设计学习打下了良好的基础。
