　　请明天来报到的新生注意一下：一个小小的请求……当你的母亲想挂好你带来的所有衣服并帮你铺床时，由着她吧。当你的父亲想向你身边的所有人介绍他自己时，由着他吧。当这个周末你父母想跟你到处逛逛并拍照时，由着他们吧。如果他们使你感到尴尬或者表现得很疯狂，也由他们去吧。因为在你开启人生的新篇章时，他们同样也在开启着他们的新篇章。无论你信或不信，这对他们来说可能比你更艰难。所以，让他们再最后一次把你当个小宝宝吧。

For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.

You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.

The archer sees the mark upon the path of the infinite,
弓箭手望着未来之路上的箭靶，
and He bends you with His might that His arrows may go swift and far.
他用尽力气将你拉开，使他的箭射得又快又远。
Let your bending in the archer’s hand be for gladness;
怀着快乐的心情，在弓箭手的手中弯曲吧，
For even as he loves the arrow that flies, so He loves also the bow that is stable.
因为他爱一路飞翔的箭，也爱无比稳定的弓。
