第三期赴美国约翰霍普金斯大学临床检验项目顺利完成

        2018年11月3日—11日，在北京华通国康公益基金会（BHGF）的支持下，第三期赴美国约翰霍普金斯大学临床检验研修项目顺利完成。

为保证项目顺利安全进行, 2018年11月2日在北京组织召开了本期项目行前会。行前会上，北京华通国康公益基金会（BHGF）陈冉理事长对所有参会的人员表示诚挚的欢迎，她希望本期研修班学员能秉承往期学员优良的学习作风，遵守秩序、注意安全，圆满完成研修项目，传播公益基金会的爱心，回国后将所学所知运用于实际，带动团队成长和学科建设,造福当地百姓健康。 

       本期项目由上海交通大学医学院附属瑞金医院王学锋主任担任政委, 广东省人民医院侯铁英主任担任团长。侯铁英主任在会上代表学员致辞，她表示一定会珍惜这次研修机会，严格遵守国家外事纪律要求，带领全体成员积极与国外同行进行学术交流，与全体学员一起协力做好组织、协调工作，保证顺利完成境外学习任务。

       研修期间，学员们重点学习涵盖临床检验医学研究概况、病理检验学医学教育、分子学介绍等检验医学方面的内容。学员们积极与授课专家进行互动，踊跃地讨论问题，并实地参观霍普金斯医院中心实验室和微生物实验室，以及美国国立卫生研究院（NIH）, 学员们纷纷表示此次项目学习内容丰富、切合实际又安排妥当，大家收获良多。

       霍普金斯大学（JHU）始建于1876年，是美国历史最为悠久的大学之一，也是一所世界顶级的研究型综合性私立大学。医学、公共卫生等领域所取得的卓越成就让JHU闻名于世。在《美国新闻与世界报道》杂志每年一次发布的全美最佳医院排名中，作为霍普金斯大学医学院的教学和科研医院，约翰霍普金斯医院曾连续22年排在榜首。“2017-2018年度美国最佳医院排名“中，约翰霍普金斯医院跻身第三，再次证明其医教研相结合的综合实力。

       BHGF积极发挥公益性支持平台，帮助中国的医院管理者和学科带头人加强与世界顶尖医疗卫生机构的交流，不断提升管理水平和专业技能，促进中国卫生事业发展。BHGF今后还将持续搭建中国医院与国际顶级医疗机构的交流合作平台，期望通过“送出去、请进来”的双向交流模式，为中国医院在人才培养、医疗质量和学科建设等方面提供更多的支持。

3rd Session Clinical Laboratory Education Program at Johns Hopkins University Successfully Completed

From November 3rd to 11th 2018, the 2018 Clinical Laboratory Education Program at Johns Hopkins University was successfully completed, under the organization of Beijing Huatong Guokang Foundation (BHGF) and Johns Hopkins University (JHU). 

In order to ensure the smooth and safe operation of the program, Beijing Huatong Guokang Foundation (BHGF) organized a pre-trip meeting of the program in Beijing on the evening of November 2nd, 2018. At the pre-trip meeting, Chairman of the Beijing Huatong Guokang Foundation (BHGF) Chen Ran expressed sincere welcome to all the participants. She expected the participants should hold the excellent learning style of past trainees, and perform better. She also hoped them to abide by local laws and regulations, pay attention to safety and complete the learning task successfully, spread the successful ideas and graceful love of BHGF and help to advance Chinese medical development. After returning to China, they would apply what they have learned to practice and benefit the health of local people.

Mr Wang Xuefeng, Director of Clinical Laboratory of Ruijin Hospital Shanghai Jiaotong University School of Medicine, was the Political Committee of the group. The Group leader, Ms Hou Tieying, Director of Clinical Laboratory of Guangdong General Hospital delivered speech on behalf of the participants. She said that they will cherish this training opportunity, strictly abide by the foreign affairs discipline, lead all members to actively carry out academic exchanges with their foreign counterparts, and work together with all the participants to organize and coordinate the work to ensure the smooth completion of overseas study tasks.

During the program, the trainees focused on A Glance into Research, Medical Education for Pathologist, Microbiology, and Information Technology and Telepathology etc. During the program, on site questions and answers, and interactions were undergoing actively and thoroughly between trainees and lecturers. Besides, they had chance to visit core laboratory and microbiology laboratory of Johns Hopkins Hospital and National Institutes of Health(NIH). 

2018 Clinical Laboratory Education Program at Johns Hopkins University gets great support and help from the relevant health authorities. Up to now, many programs have been held by BHGF and JHU, and nearly 300 excellent Chinese health management administrators, hospital presidents and academic leaders have got the chance to visit and have well-completed a series of learning course overseas. 

The Johns Hopkins University(JHU), founded in 1876, is considered one of the oldest universities in US, also known as the world’s leading research and comprehensive private university. The brilliant achievement in medicine and public health makes JHU world-famous. In the annual top hospital ranking of US News & World Report, Johns Hopkins hospital, as the teaching and research hospital of JH school of medicine, ranked first in the past 22 consecutive years. In the 2017-2018 US Top Hospitals ranking, Johns Hopkins hospital ranks the third, proving its comprehensive strength with medicine, teaching and research. 

With its international medical resources and public welfare support, BHGF has concentrated on working with international top medical institutions, aiming to improve the management level and expertise of national hospital administrators and academic leaders by communicating with the world-class medical and health organizations. BHGF will continuously build the communication and cooperation platform connecting Chinese hospitals with top international medical institutions, so that it can provide more help to domestic hospitals regarding talents training, medical quality and discipline construction through the bidirectional communication medel of “sending out, inviting in”.
