美国弗吉尼亚联邦大学初创企业新计划
2018年7月26日，美国弗吉尼亚联邦大学（Virginia Commonwealth University，VCU），推出了一项新的名为VCU Ventures的初创企业支持计划，包括名为Venture Lab的预加速器，用于将初创团队与教师持有的技术相结合。合格的初创企业必须以VCU知识产权为基础，具有高增长潜力，有进行风险投资的计划，并具备有前景、可推广的的商业模式。
VCU Ventures内的初创公司将根据学校预先设置的许可条款运作，该条款规定了企业与大学之间的知识产权所有权与分配。VCU将获得初创公司5％的所有权权益，同时允许分许可并放弃所有许可使用费、分许可费和阶段性付款。
