学院简介

浙江大学伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳香槟校区联合学院（以下简称ZJU-UIUC联合学院）设有各级终身教职，诚邀工程与科学领域的海内外英才加入，共建一所具有多学科交叉的中外合作顶尖工学院。

ZJU-UIUC联合学院是浙江大学下属的非独立法人中外合作办学机构, 由中外合作方——浙江大学和美国伊利诺伊大学厄巴纳香槟校区共同管理。地处浙江海宁市浙江大学国际联合学院（海宁国际校区），距离上海约120公里。

ZJU-UIUC学院教学和科研涵盖的主要领域包括工程与系统科学、信息与数据科学、能源/环境/基础设施科学等交叉学科。目前开设的本科和研究生专业包括土木工程、电子与计算机工程、电气工程及其自动化、机械工程。联合学院诚邀电气、电子、计算机、土木、机械等相关工程领域及物理、材料科学、计算机科学、数学等领域的英才加入。联合学院特设交叉学科平台，欢迎有高性能计算、计算机技术、数据科学和工程、通讯与网络、智能化基础设施、智能制造、交通电气化、环境可持续性、智能能源和水集成、可移动系统、太赫兹与射频技术及系统、先进的电子和光子学、生物技术、纳米技术量子材料等领域跨学科背景的求职者。ZJU-UIUC联合学院工作语言为英语，授课及学生活动均要求用英文进行。

各类教职的应聘要求

助理教授 —— 候选人学历要求为博士及以上，要求学术成果卓越，研究计划优异，教学能力突出。有相关行业工作经验、博士后经验、专业服务经验或实习经验都将优先考虑。

副教授 —— 候选人须在其学术领域有一定的影响力，具有较强的教学能力、丰硕的学术成果及获资助的研究项目，且参与过跨学科的项目合作。

教授 —— 候选人须在其学科领域有较高的国际影响力和地位，尤其欢迎正在寻求交叉研究和教学平台的资深学者。

Tenure-Track Faculty Positions in Engineering

The newly launched Zhejiang University/University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign Institute (the ZJU-UIUC Institute) invites highly qualified candidates for multiple tenure-track faculty positions at all levels and in areas of engineering and science that match its multidisciplinary mission.

The ZJU-UIUC Institute is a new engineering college on the new Zhejiang University (ZJU) International Campus in Haining, China, about 120 km southwest of Shanghai. The ZJU-UIUC Institute conducts teaching and research in broad program themes of engineering and system sciences; information and data sciences; and energy, environment, and infrastructure sciences. Undergraduate and graduate degrees are offered in civil and environmental engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, electronics engineering, and mechanical engineering. Applications are welcome from relevant electrical/electronic/computer/civil/mechanical engineering disciplines, physics, materials science, computer science, and mathematics. The Institute has interests that address but are not limited to interdisciplinary topics exemplified by high performance computing, computer technologies, data science and engineering, communications and networking, intelligent infrastructure, smart manufacturing, transportation electrification, environmental sustainability, smart energy and water integration, mobile systems, microwave and terahertz technology, advanced electronics & photonics, biotechnology, nanotechnology and  atomic-scale materials. Classes and student activities are conducted in English.

Successful candidates will initiate and lead collaborative research and teaching, and perform academic and professional service duties associated with the ZJU-UIUC Institute. They will be leaders for teaching and research innovation, giving students a meaningful and interactive engineering education.

Assistant professor candidates must have an earned doctorate, excellent academic credentials, strong research plans, and an outstanding ability to teach effectively.  Additional industry, post-doctoral, professional service, or internship experiences are preferred.

Mid-career candidates must be established leaders in their field; exhibit strong records of teaching, publication, and funded research; and demonstrate participation in interdisciplinary collaborations.

Senior appointments are available for persons of international stature seeking to build substantial interdisciplinary research and teaching programs.

Faculty positions report to the ZJU-UIUC Institute, and new faculty members will serve as Joint Institute Fellows on the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign (UIUC) campus for one year prior to work in China.

The Institute will also recommend its qualified candidates for the One Thousand Talent Program for Young Outstanding Scientists, China.

The search process will continue until positions are filled or through December 31, 2018. Salary and research initiation support will be commensurate with qualifications and competitive with international norms, including housing benefits. Position Summary

Student Counselor of Residential College

The main responsibilities include 主要职责：

1. Assisting the Masters to carry out the administrative work;

2. Assist in the promotion of residential college education programs and organization of students activities;

3. Complete the other tasks assigned by the leader.

1.协助书院院领导开展日常行政工作；

2.协助推进书院教育项目和组织学生相关活动;

3.完成书院领导交办的其他工作。

Qualifications 应聘条件:

1. Required Education：Master’s degree in well-known universities or Bachelor’s degree and two years above relative working experience；

2. Required Experience：Minimum of 2 years` experience in student affairs or an equivalent combination of education and experience，with experience of studying abroad preferred;

3. Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities：Have strong communication and coordination skills, proficiency in English communication and writing.
