美国国立卫生研究院资助布朗大学脑科学研究
11月29日新闻：美国国立卫生研究院（NIH）卓越生物医学研究中心（COBRE）与布朗大学中枢神经系统功能中心续签价值1200万美元的合同。这笔资金将支持布朗大学研究大脑运作机制以及相关疾病的治疗方法。
2013年，布朗大学中枢神经系统计划获得COBRE第一阶段资金支持，资助金额为1100万美元。此次资助属于第二阶段资金支持。布朗大学神经科学教授Jerome Sanes表示，他们的目标是发展高阶神经系统功能基础知识。在国立卫生研究院的支持下，他们将致力于研究大脑从决策到感知知觉的基本属性。
