南卫理公会大学（Southern Methodist University）是一所成立于1911年的私立大学，位于德克萨斯州达拉斯市，校园面积为234亩。校园也是布什政府博物馆，图书馆和公共政策研究所的乔治·布什总统中心的所在地，经常主持重要演讲。SMU归联合卫理公会的南方中部管辖区所有，有着悠久的宗教传统，但学校保证并承诺教学无宗派倾向，学术自由和开放研究。SMU重视这一传统，欢迎有各种信仰的学生, 鼓励超越宗教界限的学术和个人探索。学校有1282名国际学生，分别来自包括中国、 墨西哥、 沙特阿拉伯、 越南、 印度等近九十个国家和地区，约三分之一的国际学生来自中国。
